Perform clerical work including copying, filing, mailing and other office work

Assure the office area, reception area and entry area are kept clean and organized.

Schedule new patient’s appointments and arrange appointments for follow-ups

Provide information on sales and promotions to walk-ins and calling customers

Follow up with potential customers from voice mails, social media messages, and email messages.

Check patients in & out, electronic intake forms.

Job Requirements

At least 1-year experience as receptionist and or Office Manager

High School Diploma
-
Strong customer service skills

Solid communication skills both written and verbal

Tech-Savvy

Bilingual English and Spanish

Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/ Sales
Juventis MedSpa is Miami's Premier Center for Anti-Aging, Weight Loss, Hormone Replacement & Skin Rejuvenation. We are a physician-run Aesthetic Medical destination specializing in Health and Advanced Anti-Aging treatments.
Medical Assistant needed immediately to assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interview patients, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height) and record information on patients' charts. May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients. Inform patients of costs for care being provided and guides them to appropriate resources for further information. Type routine correspondence and reports from dictation or handwritten copy. Answer telephones, screen callers, relay messages and greet visitors. Sales experience a plus. May be requested to do some front desk duties.
The Medical Assistant supports practitioners and patients by providing excellent and compassionate care, accurate information, high-quality services, and assistance. Promotes a collaborative team environment and always upholds practice values. Performs clinical and administrative duties in support of the practice.
Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome patients by greeting them in person or on the telephone

Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit

Prepare patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room

Perform preliminary physical tests; take blood pressure, weight, and temperature; report patient history summary
-
Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential

Educate patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions; answering questions
-
Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
-
Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment and test results
-
Generate revenue by recording billing information of services rendered

Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, including phlebotomy.

Prepares and administers medication as instructed by the physician; this includes the administration of injections.

Demonstrates the ability to understand and react to the unique needs of the patients.

Maintains current licensing and certification necessary to perform applicable job functions.

Possesses effective time management skills and assists other staff members when appropriate.

Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.

Maintains examination areas, exam rooms, and common office space clean and orderly at all times.

Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

0-2 years of experience working in a Medical Office environment preferred

IV Certification
-
Phlebotomy certification
-
Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish
